A lone Coptic priest attends to candles outside Jesus' Tomb in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This is the believed site of Jesus' crucifixion, death and internment. Arguably the holiest site in Christendom, the Church used to draw hundreds of tourists per day before the outbreak of the most recent intifada.
